Spatiotemporal Dynamics of Ionizing Filaments in Air

Abstract

We use time-domain Spatially and Spectrally Resolved Interferometry (SSRI) to measure the intensity and phase of filaments. The optical power of self-focusing pulses is shown to be consistent with defocusing due to ionization.
