Super-Uniform Target Illumination for Laser Fusion as a Self-Organizing System

Abstract

we propose a new algorithm to give an optimum direct-drive beam configuration for super-uniform illumination. It is obtained as a self-organizing system by solving N-body charged particle simulation, applicable for an arbitrary number of beams.
