Abstract

Fabry-Perot Quantum Cascade Lasers can be used in conjunction with a FTIR spectrometer to perform spectroscopic experiments that require orders of magnitude more photons than what is achievable with a thermal illumination source. Three proof-of-concept experiments will be discussed.
