High Repetition Rate Cavity-Dumped Yb:KYW Femtosecond Oscillator

Abstract

An Yb:KYW oscillator has been cavity-dumped at 4.58 MHz, obtaining pulses as short as 264-fs and energies as high as 250 nJ. Up to 1.8 µJ and 234-fs have been achieved at 0.56 MHz.
