235-ring Coupled-Resonator Optical Waveguides

Abstract

Silicon microring coupled-resonator optical waveguides (CROWs) with up to 235 unit cells are fabricated and measured. These are the longest CROW structures made, and both amplitude and group delay variation measurements are reported.
