Demonstration of Frequency-Detuning Compensation in a Coupled-Resonator Device for Efficient Four-Wave-Mixing

Abstract

A coupled-resonator device is proposed and experimentally demonstrated in silicon-on-insulator platform in which frequency-detuning of its traveling wave modes can be dynamically tuned using integrated micro heaters. Zero frequency detuning for efficient four-wave mixing is achieved using <1mW.
