THz Field Detection of the Coherent Synchrotron Radiation Produced by Laser Bunch Slicing

Abstract

Electric field of coherent synchrotron radiation produced by laser bunch slicing at a storage ring has been measured for the first time. A 24 m-long fiber was used to deliver the probe for electro-optic sampling.
