Coherent electro-optical detection of nanosecond THz pulses from a parametric oscillator

Abstract

We successfully realized electro-optical detection of nanosecond THz pulses based on a THz optical parametric oscillator. A maximum dynamic range of ~30dB/Hz is achieved in the electro-optical measurements.
