Yb Optical Lattice Clock at NMIJ, AIST

Abstract

We have developed a one-dimensional optical lattice clock using a fermionic isotope of ytterbium (171Yb). The absolute frequency of the 1S03P0 clock transition in 171Yb is determined with respect to the SI second.
