Fourier Domain Modelocking (FDML): Rapidly Wavelength Swept Lasers for High Speed Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Fourier Domain Mode Locking (FDML) is a new stationary operating regime of lasers, generating narrowband, rapidly wavelength swept output waveforms. The FDML mechanism and applications for biomedical imaging, coherent sensing and spectroscopy are discussed. Article not available.
