Nanoelectromechanical Proximity Perturbation Switching For Transparent Wavelength Switching Of Resonant Filters

Abstract

We report an experimental demonstration of nanoelectromechanical proximity perturbation switching for transparent wavelength switching of resonator filters. Proximity perturbation enables ~ 5 dB switching action with ~8 µs switching speeds from bar to cross state.
