Polarization state dynamics in femtosecond filaments

Abstract

We study polarization state dynamics, white-light generation and self-compression in femtosecond filaments for linear, circular and elliptically polarized input light. For elliptically polarized input laser light strong nonlinear elliptic polarization rotation is observed during filamentation.
