Abstract

We measured thermal conductivity, thermal expansion coefficient, and thermal refractive index coefficient of Nd:GdVO₄ and Nd:YVO₄. Superiority comparisons of laser media under high power laser operations were also discussed from the viewpoints of thermal characteristics.
