Fiber-Optic Voltage Sensor using A Hybrid Laser Interferometer

Abstract

A hybrid interferometer, a Michelson and a Mach-Zehnder combined, is proposed to demodulate a fiber-optic voltage sensor. By using quadrature sampling with internal triggers, optical path difference can be obtained and translated into voltage output.
