Abstract

A stabilized femtosecond frequency comb has ~106 stable optical modes spanning hundreds of terahertz, making it an ideal tool for high-resolution spectroscopy. We demonstrate some features of frequency-comb spectroscopy using experiments involving calcium and cesium.
