Abstract

A 10Gb/s EDC-based optical transceiver module for DWDM application is realized within the small-form-factor-pluggable (XFP) platform. The developed transceiver meets 140km (2400 ps/nm) transmission in uncompensated SSMF and has low power consumption and small footprint.
