Abstract

50-W average power fiber-CPA at 1055-nm is demonstrated using chirped- volume-Bragg-gratings for pulse stretching and compression. This compact pulse compression technology is efficient (83% compression efficiency in the current demonstration) and suitable for further power scaling.
