Optofluidic Transport in Liquid Core Photonic Crystal Fibers

Abstract

We describe optofluidic transport of polystyrene spheres in liquid core photonic crystal fibers (LC-PCFs). The collection of particles into distinct bands is demonstrated and we report the first measurements of the velocity distribution.
