Demonstration of speckle and interference pattern control using a wavelength-swept fiber laser

Abstract

A distorting optical object is illuminated with a wavelength-swept fiber laser to investigate how changes in wavelength affect image quality degraded by speckle/interference noise. An experimental result showing excellent reduction of speckle/interference is presented.
