Abstract

We present comparison between experiment and numerical simulation of 10.7 Gb/s DWDM uncompensated duobinary transmission over 600 km on NZ-DSF demonstrating that the receiver current corresponding to uncompensated duobinary signaling possesses non-Gaussian statistics.
