Optical Labeling Technique Using Wavelength-Offset Polarization Division Multiplexing

Abstract

An optical labeling technique using wavelength-offset polarization division multiplexing (PDM) is proposed and demonstrated. Unlike the conventional PDM technique, the proposed technique can suppress the effects of crosstalk induced by polarization variation.
