37 GHz Colliding Pulse Mode Locking Operation of Quantum Dot Lasers operating close to 1.3 μm

Abstract

We report colliding pulse mode locking at 37 GHz of quantum dot lasers emitting at ~1.3 μm. Pulsewidths of 3 ps to 4 ps were obtained at absorber bias voltages -8 V to -3 V.
