Abstract

Continuous-wave blue light at 456 nm of 93 mW with 14.6% infrared-to-blue conversion efficiency (17.3% internal conversion) is reported from a periodically polled MgO:LiNbO3 ridge-type waveguide by single-pass frequency doubling of a 912-nm Nd:GdVO4 micro-laser.
