Interference Effects in Transient Kerr Spectra of a Semiconductor Multilayer Structure

Abstract

The spectral dependences of transient Faraday and Kerr effects near exciton resonances in a GaAs multiple quantum well do not obey a Kramers-Kronig relationship. This is due to multiple reflection effects on the Kerr spectra.
