Generation of Doughnut-Like Beams by Means of a W-axicon Resonator with a Movable Axicon Element

Abstract

An optical resonator that generates doughnut-like laser beams is fabricated. A w-axicon with a movable center axicon enables us selecting any one of the Laguerre-Gaussian modes oscillation. Oscillation with a dye is demonstrated.
