Cascaded second order nonlinearity for the generation of blue/green laser using ZnO:PPLN crystal fiber

Abstract

A novel technique, using cascaded first-order second harmonic generation and third-order sum frequency generation in a ZnO:PPLN crystal fiber, was demonstrated for the generation of tunable blue/green laser from 471.3 nm to 515 nm.
