Applying Three- and Four-Order Scattering of Light in Uniaxial Crystals to an All-Optical Logic-Based Switching

Abstract

A multi-order Bragg scattering of light with direct transitions between optical modes in uniaxial crystals is considered. The performed analysis has revealed optical nonlinearity governed by an external electronic signal. All-optical multi-bit registers are proposed.
