Surface plasmon enhanced THz transmission of subwavelength metallic structures

Abstract

We present experimental results of THz transmission through a subwavelength hole array. Sharp phase peaks centered on the surface plasmon resonances are observed. The transmission magnitude has the shape of the derivative of this peak.
