Generation of flatly broadened, wideband and low noise supercontinuum by use of highly nonlinear hybrid fiber

Abstract

We demonstrated the generation of 1180-2100 nm wideband, flat, and low noise supercontinuum using optimally designed highly nonlinear hybrid fiber and fiber laser. Stable smooth spectrum without fine structure was realized.
