]Ultrafast all-optical switching at 1.55 µm using an organic multilayer device

Abstract

Ultrafast all-optical switching is carried out at optical communication wavelength by adopting a layered structure of spin-coated organic films. Signal-noise ratio more than 25 dB and a sub-picosecond response time are observed at 1.55 µm.
