Plastic photonic crystal fiber as terahertz waveguide

Abstract

Terahertz waveguide using plastic photonic crystal fiber has been experimentally demonstrated. The plastic waveguides of various lengths and different number of periodic cladding show polarization preserving characteristics with low-loss narrowband width.
