Abstract

We report on a dual-frequency Er:Yb:Glass laser at 1.53 μm. The frequency difference can be tuned from 100 MHz to 20 GHz, and phase-locked to a microwave reference in order to achi eve low phase noi se (−130dBc/Hz).
