Compact 10-GHz Nd:GdVO4 laser with 0.5 W average output power and 125 fs rms timing jitter

Abstract

We demonstrate a very compact, passively mode-locked diode-pumped 10-GHz Nd:GdVO4 laser with 125 fs rms timing jitter. The maximum achievable average output power is 0.5 W with a minimum pulse duration of 12 ps.
