Mode and Wavelength Selectivity of a Distributed-feedback Optical Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

We present a coupled-wave theory to show that a distributed-feedback optical parametric oscillator has both longitudinal-mode selectivity and wavelength selectivity. Experimental progress toward this source in bulk and waveguide nonlinear optical materials will be reported.
