Multiple Quantum Wells for Mode-locking

Abstract

Mode-locking at wavelengths ranging from 750 nm to 1100 nm is achieved with proper adjustment of multiple-quantum-well composition. In ftashlamp Nd:YAG laser with multiple-quantum-wells 25 ps pulses are reported.
