Femtosecond Waveform Transfer from 800nm to 400nm Wavelength by Type II Second Harmonic Generation

Abstract

We demonstrate for the first time a pulse shape frequency transfer scheme using type II second harmonic generation (SHG). Our technique allows general control of both the intensity and phase profiles of the output waveform.
