Dispersion and absorption effects by water and lipid in 1.3 μm OCT system

Abstract

The water and lipid induced group velocity dispersion (GVD) and absorption effects were investigated in OCT system. These results suggest possible limitations in intravascular imaging in vivo, as well as possible tissue characteristics using GVD.
