A thermal-curing induced long-period fiber grating on corrugated metal fixture

Abstract

We demonstrate a new method for fabricating long-period fiber gratings by gluing an un-etched fiber onto a corrugated metal fixture. Dynamic range as large as 25dB is achieved for a temperature change of 100 °C.
