Abstract

Selective two-photon microscopy of fluorescent probe molecules using phase-modulated ultrashort laser pulses is demonstrated on fluorescent probes used for biological imaging. Maximum contrast in the excitation of these molecules is achieved using multiphoton intrapulse interference.
