Wavelength Tunability of Femtosecond Yb Fiber Lasers

Abstract

We modelocked Yb fiber lasers can generate 100-fs pulses in the range of 1020-1070 nm. The tuning provides good solutions for medical/biological applications and seed in high-power ultrashort pulse fiber amplifiers.
