High resolution radio frequency spectral analysis with photon echo chirp transform in Er:YSO

Abstract

The chirp transform algorithm is investigated with photon echoes in a Er:YSO crystal for rf spectral analysis purposes. Thanks to a high spectral purity fiber laser we demonstrate 40 kHz resolution and a time bandwidth product of 500.
