Multi-cascade non-degenerated optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier based on KD*P crystals

Abstract

A chirp pulse at 910nm was amplified from 1nJ to 100mJ by an optical parametric amplifier. Computations show that adding two more parametric amplifiers (100mm and 300mm diameter) will result in a multipetawatt power.
