Abstract
We demonstrate an all-optical XOR gate based on Kerr effect in a single highly– nonlinear fiber. We obtain a 25dB extinction ratio using 2-km of highly–nonlinear fiber with a nonlinear coefficient of 9.1W−1km−1.
