Experimental and numerical analysis of widely broadened supercontinuum generation in highly nonlinear dispersion shifted fiber

Abstract

We demonstrated sonogram measurement and reconstruction of amplitude and phase for 1.2-2.0μm supercontinuum pulses using non-mechanical and wideband sonogram measurement system. Numerical results are well in agreement with experimental behavior.
