Abstract

Laterally waveguide-coupled micro-pillar square resonant cavity channel add-drop filters have been designed, simulated and fabricated on silicon-nitride-on-silica substrates. Conventional photolithography and plasma etching were employed. Optical characterization of the fabricated filters is in progress.
