A pulsed photoacoustic spectrometer enabling the simultaneous detection of gaseous trace species in the fundamental and frequency-doubled spectral regi me of a continuously tunable high-pressure CO2 laser is presented. Results on NO (including isotopes), OCS, H2O and CO2 are discussed.
