Abstract

Post-fabrication wavelength adjustment by photoabsorption-induced disordering of a superlattice has been demonstrated in a 1.55 μm five-channel gain-coupled distributed- feedback laser arra y. Its unequal wavelength channel spacing as fabricated has successfully been corrected to 100GHz (0.8 nm) equal spac ing.
