Acoustically driven polarization properties of hollow optical fibers

Abstract

A new ultra-fast technique to control the polarization state of optical signal is proposed using hollow optical fibers. Traces of polarization state on the Poincare sphere and differential group delay of hollow optical fibers are reported for various acoustic frequencies and amplitudes.
