Dual-pump four-wave mixing in a distributed-feedback laser

Abstract

We demonstrate properties of a novel dual-pump four-wave mixing scheme for optical wavelength conversion using a distributed-feedback laser. Experimental results include conversion efficiency testing for probe wavelengths from 1535 to 1565 nanometers.
