Abstract

We compensated for chirp of ultrabroad-band pulses with over-one-octave bandwidth using a feedback method. Consequently, we found the duration of compensated pulses is 4.0 fs. Furthermore, the generation of 3.6-fs pulses with sub-pulses was confirmed.
